Greetings! I'm Tyrell Storm, also producing as Christ is Boss, a 49-year-old New Yorker with a passion for creating music that speaks to the soul and glorifies God. At 27, I gave my life to Christ, a decision that transformed my journey and infused my creativity with purpose. Beyond being a husband and father, I am an artist dedicated to producing faith-filled music that ministers, inspires, and uplifts.
Coming from a musical family with ties to legends like the late James Ingram and Sheryl Lee Ralph, music has always been in my blood. Yet, for much of my life, I wasn't inspired to write or produce music. It wasn’t until recently, observing how the message of the Gospel seemed to fade in much of today's gospel music, that God called me to step forward. My mission became clear: to create music that reflects Christ, not self, and to bring the message of the Gospel back to the forefront.
As I created under the name Christ is Boss, my music has evolved to reflect the power of spiritual growth, identity in Christ, and the importance of living a life that honors God over worldly desires. Every song is crafted to minister, inspire, and encourage others in their walk with Christ.
My sound is a unique blend of R&B, Jazz, Hip-hop, and Soul, deeply rooted in biblical truths that resonate with believers. While my early years were spent immersed in computer programming, God had other plans. Faith and life experiences became the foundation for my music, crafting every beat and lyric to honor God and encourage spiritual growth.
As Christ is Boss, my music reflects themes of spiritual identity, growth in Christ, and living a life that glorifies God over worldly desires. In every song, my goal is to bring the truth of God's Word to life, offering a powerful tool for ministry and transformation.
